The really, REALLY hot one! 'Jenny & Ben'

Ok it was already hot! 8:30 in the morning and HOT!! This was going to be sweaty!! I arrived at the New Bath Hotel early in the morning to capture jenny during her bridal preparation. The large airy room and beautiful sunlight streaming through the window were the perfect backdrop. Jenny was getting ready and her bubbly, fun nature soon had us all laughing. With an exploding prosecco bottle and disney tunes Jenny was soon looking stunning.

Heading over to the venue the sun was shining and guests were gathering outside The FIshpond, enjoying some ice cold drinks. Laughter and smiles all round I grabbed Ben, his best man and their boy’s for a few fun shots. We risked the traffic and motorbikes on the A6 to recreate a nod to the famous Abbey Road shot by the Beatles and then had a little fun outside the amusements.

Ceremony time arrived and guests gathered in the stunning ballroom, children blew bubbles around the room and the atmosphere was filled with anticipation. Ben looked cool as a cucumber despite the heat and was kept entertained by the guests. Jenny arrived in style in a gorgeous VW camper van, perfect for such a beautiful summers day. As Jenny made her way down towards the venue we stopped to grab a few shots in the sunshine and Jenny looked absolutely stunning.

Jenny was led in by her flower girls and page boys and a love filled ceremony followed. Afterwards guests were led outside to a private terrace and bar to soak up some sunshine, grab a few more drinks and celebrate. I borrowed Jenny & Ben for a few sneaky shots with the camper van and some glasses of well earned champagne. We then went next door to the amusement arcade and the newlyweds had 5 mins on the 2p slot machines, even winning a few pennies for good luck!

The food was incredible, a real credit to the Fishpond and afterwards the speeches were full of jokes and laughter.

Afterwards, back on the terrace guests were entertained by a brilliant magician and as the evening guests arrived the disco was started with Jenny & Ben’s first dance.
