The Camper Van & Smoke Bombs one! 'Ella & Wayne'
I remember meeting with Ella & Wayne at Hazel Gap Barn a few months prior to their wedding on a glorious day and saying how nice it would be to have the same weather in October...well it didn't disappoint and October 19th 2018 was a truly glorious Autumn day!
I met up with Ella and the bridal party at Emily's Touch salon in Mapperly, Nottingham. The atmosphere was chilled as was the prosecco! The staff at Emily's Touch were super friendly and so talented - the girls looked stunning!
Ella & the girls were wearing fab silk PJ's which they'd had made for the hen do!
The sun was already streaming through the salon windows, skies were blue and there were smiles all round. Once hair and make up was complete everyone headed back to Ella's house to get their dresses on. Ella's dad was ready and waiting with more bubbles! The flowers were all ready and prepared, arranged by Ella's lovely mum.
The time had come for Ella to get into her Mori Lee designed dress from Catrina's Bridal, Great Yarmouth and I have to say it was stunning. Her bridesmaid, Rachel helped with the decorative and intricate fastenings using a good old hair grip - skills!
When Ella walked down the stairs and emerged into the living room the reaction of her bridal party and dad were priceless and rightly so, she looked incredible...
The next excitement was the arrival of the camper van which was going to transport Ella to Hazel Gap Barn. At this point I headed over to the venue to meet up with the boys and leave Ella to enjoy the rest of her preparations.
Hazel Gap Barn looked fantastic in the autumn sunshine and oozes class and rustic elegance as you drive up the sweeping white stone driveway. The boys were looking very dapper in their tweed suits from Wedding Suits Direct, Birmingham.
The interior of the barn was beautiful, dressed with lots of gorgeous extra's, candles lit and a lovely warm, inviting feel. Guests began arriving and it wasn't long before Ella arrived in the gorgeous camper van, so cute!
The aisle in the ceremony room is fabulously long and the bridesmaids walked one by one to the front where Wayne stood waiting for his bride. Ella and her dad made their walk down the aisle and after catching Wayne's eye her smile lit the room.

The ceremony was gorgeous, with Wayne's nephews acting as page boys and helping with handing the rings to Ella & Wayne. But the reaction to being pronounced officially married was truly priceless!
The guests then aligned outside the ceremony room from which Ella & Wayne emerged to handfuls of flower petal confetti and huge cheers. Canapés and bubbles flowed.
At this point I stole the newly weds away for a few portraits including messing around with some smoke bombs with the bridesmaids and groomsmen - carnage!!
After enjoying a BBQ inspired wedding breakfast, which I have to say tasted incredible (perks of the job!) the speeches followed. There were heartwarming stories, slightly risqué stories, lots of laughter and so much love in the room.
The Brace, a live band from Nottingham kicked off the evening entertainment, followed by a disco and the first dance to UB40's (I can't help) Falling in Love With You.
After capturing candid moments from the evening reception, including sparklers, I said my goodbyes to Ella & Wayne. However... Ella had one more shot in mind!! And whoooaaahhh WHAT a shot!
Ella & Wayne you were INCREDIBLE!! Wishing you all the love and happiness in your future life together.
Much love, Emma xxx
